A Custom Outdoor Kitchen Idea

This project was built in El Cajon of San Diego CA in the spring of 2010. The project consisted of building a covered patio with an outdoor kitchen underneath. The covered patio was built using four masonry columns. The walls and columns were built using concrete masonry unit (CMU) blocks with rebar reinforcement. The walls and columns were then finished with brick and stucco.

Our professional Landscapers used asphalt shingles for the roofing of the patio cover to match the house. Inside the patio cover we installed a fan with lights to allow the homeowner to enjoy their outdoor kitchen on hot summer nights, which are very common in San Diego County.

The outdoor kitchen consisted of a barbeque grill, stainless steel side burner, sink, refrigerator and drawers. The BBQ grill and accessories were purchased at Barbeque Galore in San Diego CA. The manufacturer was Jenn-Air Barbeques appliances. Once the outdoor kitchen appliances were installed we finished the outdoor kitchen idea by installing a granite tile counter. The Outdoor Kitchen Project was completed by sealing the granite tile counter with a high quality tile sealer.
